This is a close second for my favorite book in the series. It does have its lulls in story but I do recommend a fan to read it and stick with it. It really is a great book.

Ok I see there have been over 5200 reviews on this book, sooo I will not even attempt to review. In the first place I buy books for the pure enjoyment of reading them, not reviewing them. I have read this book twice and have enjoyed both times, the only problem I have with Stephanie Meyers is that she is not (to my knowledge) working on a new project. I have also read The Host and throughly enjoyed that one too!!! I sincerely hope they will be making the scripts necessary to put this book on film, whether it be 1 or 2 movies. I feel this is only fair to the 100's of thousands of readers that have been waiting patiently. I am not a teenager or a middle aged person, I'm a grannie that believes in reading a book for pure enjoyment and that is exactly what these books have done for me.

I bought this book for my wife and suprised her by having it delivered to her work place. I'm not the kind to kiss and tell but let's just say she was not only thankful but she has "been in a much better mood lately". I'm glad its 754 pages long. Its gonna take her a couple of weeks to read it. Hurry, Mrs. Myers. I can't wait to not read your next book.

Evaluación: - 754 pages that could've been summed up in 200 or less, spoiler alert
I loved "Twilight" and "New Moon." I was fascinated with the characters (Team Jacob!) and interested in how their relationships would form. By "Eclipse," I lost a lot of respect for Edward and Jacob's actions towards Bella, and I had zero respect for Bella. I got "Twilight" and "New Moon" at the library, but I bought the last two. I really wish I'd have done it the other way around because I could read the first two books over and over again. I did not enjoy this last story at all.

Evaluación: - Probably the Best in the series!
I think this is my favorite book of the series! This is the book where all the stories of the characters really start to come out and the action starts. I really enjoyed getting the back stories of more of the characters. This I think is one of the most entertaining of them all and I would totally recommend it.

I enjoyed "Eclipse" the best out of the saga. Bella finally comes clean about her feelings for Jacob. Edward & Jacob work together to save Bella.
The danger that comes to Forks & wanting to see who "Bella"chooses makes this a page turner.

Evaluación: - Eclipse (3d in the Twilight Series)
I was not certain that Ms. Meyers could continue this story as well she has. While this is the weakest of the books (my opinion), it is still very, very good. Like the other two books, this book is written well and easy to read. It seems to be a trend for me, but I read this book in one day and then read it again the next week, just like the other two. All three are as good the second time around as they are the first. i am highly impressed with Ms. Meyer's ability to continue the story line, answer questions from the previous books and keep you wanting more and more. Very addicting for one who likes to read high quality fiction. Once again, I highly recommend reading this series.

Evaluación: - Kept waiting for Victoria to hurry up and kill Bella
Cons: Sometimes you have to read a book for what it is and stop trying to say what you'd do in that situation. But other times it's very difficult to decipher between the two, and this book was one of those times. I honestly just wanted somebody to kill Bella so she'd stop whining. I don't remember her being this pitiful in the movie, but she was pathetic in the book. She was so glued to Edward's side that I wondered why she didn't ask him to wipe her after she used the bathroom, too. I can't tolerate weak female characters, which is probably why I love Alice, Victoria and Jane so much. They're strong characters who don't take any B.S. from anybody and know how to control themselves. Bella spent 75 percent of the book crying, screaming for Edward, begging for him to be wherever she was, running to hug him, trying to bribe him into having sex with her and manipulating Jacob. Spoilers and a load of Twilight bashing is ahead


I've hated Twilight forever now. The books are boring and plotless, with no conflicts or no meaning to it. Bella is selfish, whiny, dull, backstabbing, heartless, and as boring as the books are. Edward is a stalker and an obsessive boyfriend. Jacob is love-sick puppy dog with nothing better to do but whine about his non-connection with Bella. Charlie is as dead as the fish he brings home from his endless fishing trips. Renee is airheaded. Every character`has a large amount of flaws to make Bella seemingly perfect despite her rediculous clumsiness.

Eclipse plot- If there even IS a plot here. Bella is supposadly in love with Edward and Jacob. But it is so obvious who she is going to pick this book isnt even needed. Meanwhile, Victoria is putting together a newborn vampire army in order to kill Bella, to get back at Edward for killing James. Evaluación: - The book that started it all.
I never knew about twilight until I saw a preview of the 1st movie before it came out. I thought the movie sounded silly but I kept hearing about the books and I'm a big vampire fan anyway. When an older woman at Borders told me how much she enjoyed the series, i decided to pick up a copy. Just after reading the first few chapters I was completely hooked. I could not get enough. I'm not a teenager and I quickly realized that this book and series was not just for kids. I thought it was a great fantasy about powerful love. It really made me appreciate my own marriage and what a wonderful guy I have. This series is like an escape to me, a great place to go if you are feeling worn out with life. Just dive into a few chapters of twilight and I feel so much better. Some may not like this book, but if it makes you happy, it doesn't matter what age you are.

T Twilight Saga series is one of the most amazing series for those who enjoy the paranormal fantasy. it's full of romance and adventure with lots of action and the author does an excellent job of letting us understand the character's feelings and backgrounds. I love this series, and frankly, I had never read any paranormal stuff before I got hooked on this series!

I enjoyed the movie much more than the book, even though the first installment was poorly funded and directed. I couldn't shake the feeling the entire time of how poorly Edward treated Bella. They tempered this quite a bit in the movie, you will notice, because it's quite off-putting and makes Edward look like a royal a-hole. Did he ever notice or comment on her intellect, sense of humor, courage, character? Did anyone else notice that he was constantly angry with her, making condescending faces and noises? I kept asking myself why she didn't like Mike.... The perfect descriptions of Ed's perfectness were extreemely perfectly repetitive. I understand the need to explain Bellas lust for him, but maybe she could have done it in some more creative ways. That being said, I like the main ideas of the plot... they do make for intriguing vapid reading. The books should have been 1/3 the size they ended up. When I heard that Stephanie Meyer had written a book about Bree...a rather small character from Eclipse, I was a bit troubled. However, being curious what she could find interesting about the character enough to want to take on this endeavor, I purchased the book. After reading the book, I was surprised at how she was able to take this seemingly small character and make her interesting and make her story captivating. This was a great short story that left me far from disappointed!

As an adult fan of the Twilight series and an avid reader/collector of books, I had to have this book, if nothing else to have the complete collection of the Twilight series. However, I found Bree Tanner to be of lesser quality compared to the rest of Meyers books. The characters are likable enough, but I found the storyline rather weak, again in comparison to Meyers other books. I did not think the book had much to add to the series. In general, while the book should be read to get the full Twilight experience, fans will lose nothing if they opt out. An ok, though sub par novella from an excellent author.

If you've read Eclipse, which is Meyer's third installment in the Twilight Saga, then you already know who Bree Tanner is - and you also know what happens to her by the end of the story. What you don't know is how she was created, what happened when she first became a newborn vampire, and the events that led up to the big battle at the end of the book between the newborn vampires (led by Victoria) and the Cullens (aided by the Wolf Pack). Well, for anyone wondering ... this is the book for you.

The Short Second Life is written from Bree's perspective, much like Twilight is narrated by Bella Swan. These stories are similar in that the first-person narrative limits what you see outside of what they see - which can sometimes be a huge handicap. For the most part, Meyer typically wraps up any loose ends and unanswered questions you may have. I thought this book was really great too. It is not my favorite of the series, mostly due to I'm a big Edward fan, but you need to read all the books to get the whole story of the series. I almost put the book down since I didn't like much what was transpiring between the characters but I kept going and am very glad I did. This is another great book from SM.

Ms. Meyers continues to produce a book that is well written and easy to read. It explains much from the first book and leaves you wanting for more. Just like the first book, I read it in one day and then read it again the next week. It is as good the second time around as the first. The quality of writing by Ms. Meyer is validating, in my opinion of here as one of the most excellent authors/writers for books of this genre that are out there. Highly recommend reading this series.

If you like the paranormal you simple must read this entire series. Stephanie does a wonderful job of letting you understand each character. She weaves adventure and romance and family values into this series. She shows us that vampires and werewolves can be good people, too, with hearts of gold. I'd recommend you buy the first book "Twilight" and I guarantee you, you'll be buying the rest of the series! I wish it could have gone on forever!

WHERE IS EDWARD?!?!? I thought throughout, Twilight, Bella and Edward were soul mates. And now all of a sudden Edward leaves and Bella is lightening quick to fall in love with the next unnatural being she can come across? This was a sad and unexpected plot twist, ad it ruined the rest of the series for me.

After reading the Twilight series I didn't think The Host would even come close. After finishing the book I found the beginning a little slow but once it got started I became obsessed and couldn't put it down till the end. Although I would have like the end to go on a little longer to wrap up the story better over all it was a great read.

Evaluación: - Not a fix for Twilight Addicts but a Great Read
I started reading the Twilight series to see why the students at school were so fixed on these books and quickly became an addict!

This is not a fix for this addiction but was a great read.

It took me a while to get into the book as I'm not generally a sci-fi fan but I quickly learned to love the story and got drawn into the romance as well as the story's theme.

It is written in Meyer's enviable style still and is a unique and interesting drama that unfolds page-by-page and keeps you wanting more (and therefore awake at night).

In conclusion: not the Twilight Series but a book well worth reading.

This would have been a nice idea, if someone who knew how to write wrote it. The grammarical errors in these books are countless; 102 split infinitives, for those who know what that means. I checked. I've read these books through twice, and although I admit it could be an excellent spin on Romeo and Juliet, I think the writing skill could have been more developed.

I already had my own set of Twilight books, that I bought separately, as they came out. I love this series. My oldest daughter who will be 12 in Oct. read them as well and loved them so much, that she want's to read them over and over. So we bought the collection for her. She loves them. Now she has her own, that she can hold onto for as long as she wishes. I would highly recommend these books.

Keep in mind that I don't normally read romance novels (not even when I was a teen) nor am I "into" vampires. Yet, when my teenage niece and her friends got into the Twilight craze, I decided to read the series. I wanted to know what the big hype was all about.

There were some logic issues and a few abrupt places in the first book that yanked me out of the story, but I kept reading....well, the masses cannot be totally wrong, eh? So, I persisted. The author did succeed in making me curious about what would happen to the characters, so I went on to the next book. The second book got me to caring about the characters. There weren't any blips to yank me back into reality. I was hooked by the time I got to the third book, which was better written than the second. Love to read the behind the scenes tid-bits. How they set something up, if they had a hard time with a particular setup or shot. Actor/actress feelings about their character. Just awesome. the photos are amazing. And you always get a few shots that we cut from the movie and makes you wonder.....awww Why'd they cut that, but you still get to see these amazing shots. If your a big fan its cool to have this Illustrated books to check out every aspect of your obsession.

Evaluación: - Amazing graphics, Poor use of background
When I picked up my copy, I was blown away by the drawings. I appreciated how close the manga followed the story, but didn't repeat it 100%. The story was depicted very well in a manga format the move it along smoothly.

My biggest gripe from the whole volume was the use of photographs in a lot of the backgrounds. I am an art student and I learned how to take photographs and apply filters to them to make them very comic/cartoonish, but there is no replacement for photographs and actual drawings of backgrounds. While Young Kim did her best to blend the two together, it was hard to look past the placement of the characters into a photograph.

A few panels showed obvious signs of a drawing placed in a photo because they characters stuck out like paper dolls. The scene the was the most bothersome was Bella's dream about Edward and the Quileute Wolves, the wolf was obviously a photograph. Evaluación: - Depends on what you are looking for
I'm new to the Twilight series. Just watch Twilight DVD#1 last week and finished reading the Novel#1 and this graphic book yesterday.

This graphic novel is definitely beautifully illustrated. But, it's too rush and missing lots of the original and essential plots and conversation. It does not cover the entire Novel#1 either.

If you have extra money to spend, buy it. Or, just borrow from your friends or the local libraries if they have it. I will not spend money on it since it does not tell a good story of the original(even though Ms. Meyer herself instructed the story line page by page behind it).

Don't expect too much because any graphic book has its limitation. However, I would still give it 4 stars since it's still a beautiful book. Other than that, just read the original novels and then watch the DVDs.

p.s. I know there is Japanese graphic version of this Twilight series authorized by Ms. Meyer. I'm looking forward to the Janpanese version (translated ... Leer Más

I saw this book at the library and had to pick it up for my son...He was wondering what I saw in the book series and saw Twilight but hasnt seen the other two yet...I didnt even know about the graphic novel at all until I saw it at the library...

So far, he seems to like it alot...I have yet to sit and read it myself, although I have read all four of the regular books..I might read the graphic novel at some point, but for me, Im not into the "comics" but my son loves them & the graphic novels and so thats what I pick up for him...

If you have kids or know any one who are "iffy" readers...and may want to read the Twilight Saga...This may be the way to go...

Even readed all the Twilight Saga and watched the three movies I was amazed by the story, the draws and the feelings that this graphic novel brought to me. Everyone who is a fan must have one and keep it as a treasure and a memory of a great great story.
